Important differences

Not everything should be copied one-for-one.

System-specific workflow or operational records are outside the accounting migration unless separately scoped.
Analysis structures may need to be simplified for Xero.
The source reports need to cover the full migration period and required accounting detail.

Handover

Migration evidence, not just an import.

Depending on scope, the handover can include source-to-Xero Trial Balance comparison, aged-ledger checks, VAT review, migration workings, mapping schedules and documented exceptions.

Many projects also include training, first VAT return assistance and a period of post-go-live email support.

We use a preferred extraction route for each source system because it gives us the detail needed to rebuild and reconcile the history properly.

How it works

Twinfield migrations normally use a defined set of standard reports and detailed exports. We provide the list required for the migration so the finance team knows exactly what needs to be produced.

Preferred, not mandatory. If a standard export does not contain enough detail, we can review alternative reports or extraction options.
